A quick briefing:
Recently we departed the beautiful Vancouver Island with the intent of touring across the country once more. Our leading show was at The Electric Owl in Vancouver, we had the pleasure of sharing the stage with The River and The Road and Rebel on a Mountain. Then we dropped in on Calgary for Breakout West where we saw an oddly sparse amount of music but played copious amounts of drunk bowling. And finally we played Edmonton last night at The Artery with James of Darkwood and Big Ben. Great lineup, great people.
When we played Edmonton on our previous tour, it was our first of five shows in a row, but drinks were $2 and that just doesn’t happen at home! So consequently we had a great time, the best time, and then suffered for the next four days of travel and gigging. Learning from our mistakes we decidedly left a recovery day (today) this time round. Adapt or die right? So today will be spent nursing our tender heads, and if the strength can be mustered, we’ll make it out of our cold, dark basement suit to get to West Edmonton Mall.
